Cube U30GT(product of OEM) is considerably a
latest brand in the China tablet market. Like many China’s popular brands, The
U30GT was mainly a high-end model with better aspects and is available at a
cheap price. The Cube U30GT2 style and class is pretty good and it is not only
for a Chinese branded tablet. It literally has a metal band that goes
throughout the edge which grants it an iPhone kinda look. The back cover is not
of metal though it probably helped reduced its price and weight. It does have a
apparent coating that assist to intercept scratches on the surface.
Overall,
the construction is good and the tablet does look like an expensive device with
quite a lot of heave in it. A quick check on the specification sheet shows that
the weight is 665 g (1.4 lbs) which make it very heavy which might not be much
suitable for erp software solutions providers having mobility.
It also consists of 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB
of storage ROM. Extra storage can be supplemented by fixing a microSD memory
card. It can give up to 32 GB memory cards
The Cube U30GT2 is available with both rear
facing and front cameras. The rear camera is 5 Megapixel while the front one is
2 megapixels. The rear camera also comes with an LED flash for low light shots.
The front camera works appropriately for video conferencing though it is grainy
and couldn’t work efficiently in poor lighting conditions.
The Cube U30GT2 is a valued advancement over
the U30GT. Unfortunately, with the growing pace of technology, the improvements
alone might not be enough to ensure that the U30GT2 imitate its predecessor’s
victory. The Cube U30GT2 does have some strong points including interesting
features, design and class. The battery life is also a little longer as
compared to other tablets in its standard.
